    Estalene and William KILE lived in Des Moines, Iowa, then Colorado Springs, Colorado, Union Township of Guthrie County and the town of Audubon in Audubon County, Iowa.

    Chariton Herald Patriot newspaper, Chariton, Iowa, Thursday, Feb 25, 1932, p. 4: "Word was received in Lacona Monday of the death of Mrs. William E. KILE, which occurred Sunday, February 21, at her home at Audubon, Iowa. Mrs. KILE was, before her marriage, Miss Estaline SHUPE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.J. SHUPE [Samuel James SHUPE and Elmira SARGENT SHUPE], and was born near Lacona in 1882. She had attained to the age of 49 years. She is survived by her husband, Wiliam E. KILE, and two daughters, Helen and Wilma, of Audubon; also her mother, Mrs. S.J. SHUPE, of Indianola; one brother, Archie SHUPE, OF Danville; three sisters, Mrs. Reuben LAMB of Greeley, Colorado; Mrs. Glenn HESS of near Liberty Center; and Mrs. Robert KIMZEY of Indianola. The funeral was held Wednesday at 3 o'clock at Liberty Center, with burial at the Shupe cemetery near Lacona."
