H.E. RODGERS
H.E. RODGERS bought the Lacona Hotel and changed the name to the Hotel
Rodgers. In 1917 he sold it to the Lacona Auto company. In 1928 he
installed an ice hut in Lacona. It sold artificial ice trucked in from
Des Moines. He managed the ice hut until 1939.
