In 1900 Louis HOFFMAN opened a harness shop in Lacona. He bought two more buildings in Lacona in 1906. In 1913 He started selling Ford cars along with the harness business. In 1916 he sold the harness stock and supplies to Bert HALTOM and concentrated on selling Ford cars and repairing autos.
