Dr. J.S. and Rosena STARR and 2 children move to
Lacona where he set up his practice. He retired from medicine in
1911 and left Lacona to live with his son John at Pocahontas. He died
November 3, 1911 at his son’s home. His wife, Rosena, died February 1911
at the age of 77. Both were buried at Conchran Cemetery.
